With the National Cycling Championships along with the other key events on the Island, including the Parish Walk, End 2 End Mountain Bike, Royal & Southern Shows, Festival of Motorcycling, Rally Isle of Man and local club events, the summer will see more users than ever on our roads.

Tower Insurance, in conjunction with Isle of Man Road Safety Team and Isle of Man Road Policing Unit are supporting a "Share the Road Safely Together" campaign designed to raise awareness of the increased traffic expected over the summer months.

Gordon Edwards, Head of Isle of Man Road Safety Team has thanked Tower for their generous support in pulling the initiative together and helping reach all parts of the community. "The radio campaigns, poster, leaflets and bar runners being launched prior to TT and throughout the summer, we are grateful for Tower supporting us and hope we have a safe and enjoyable summer on our roads"

Richard Hulme, Development Manager at Tower Insurance, "Being involved with road safety is extremely important and relevant for Tower. We have a duty to assist where we can to aid road safety, primarily to reduce accidents which in turn will have a positive effect for Tower. The campaign has been designed to show some of the different road users and raise awareness for all to be considerate to each other"

The campaign is to run until the Autumn.

Tower Insurance would like to thank The Parish Walk, National Cycling Championship, Rally Isle of Man, Royal Manx Show and End 2 End Mountain Bike Challenge Teams for including the message in their literature and helping to promote the campaign and also the staff and customers of Tower Insurance for volunteering to be on the poster.
