We're delighted to be again sponsoring the 2019 Isle of Man Open 100-mile Walk. This follows on from our support in 2013 and 2015.

Alongside the 100-mile event will be a 20 mile event, both open for entries.

Entries have already been really encouraging with growing interest from off-Island. 23 entries are local, 11 from Holland, 10 United Kingdom and one each from South Africa, Belgium and Ireland.

The Centurion walk is set to take place on August 17-18 round the centre of Castletown and will incorporate the RWA National Long Distance Race Walking Championship. It will also be a British Centurions qualifying walk.

The 100 mile walk will start at 2pm on the Saturday (for a maximum of 24 hours) and the 20-mile walk will take place on the Sunday morning at a start time to be confirmed.

The start and finish will be in Castletown’s Market Square in front of Castle Rushen and the one-mile course will incorporate Castletown Civic Centre, Market Square, Castle Rushen and the harbour area.
