Donated Smoke Alarms to Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service pass 500 units
Over 500 units donated to Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service
Part of the home safety visits provided by the prevention team, includes the fitting of smoke detectors to those that need them.
This is only possible due to the donation of smoke detectors from Tower Insurance, who over the past couple of years have donated over 500+units to the Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service.
The latest batch was handed over to Fire Fighter Richard Little by Kellie Hands & Richard Hulme from Tower, who were surprised with a trip up in the services 42m ladder.
Kellie said "What an experience going up 42m, absolutely amazing and something I won't forget, but not sure I suit the trousers"
