Kellie Hands - President 2024 - 2025 - Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man
Tower's Commercial Underwriting Manager, Kellie Hands has been elected the President of The Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man, 2024 - 2025.
The local institute, part of the Chartered Insurance Instutute, provides invaluable support, guidance and Continual Professional Development (CPD) to members and fellow industry professionals for the General Insurance Sector and the Personal Finance Society.
Kellie is the institutes 34th President and follows John Walker who was president for the past two years.
On her appointment, Kellie said "I am honoured to be offered the opportunity to be President of our esteemed local institute. To lead and steer the support we offer to local students in their quest to obtain professional qualifications is very important. For both general insurance and personal finance, our education committee will work tirelessly to ensure high quality, informative and topical educational needs are met and that will include specific examination support.
As a local council, I am very much looking forward to meeting as many members as possible, build on our portfolio of CPD and learning opportunities as well as playing part in our local community."
